The Living Word Christian Center Loaves and Fishes Ministry is committed to Jesus Christ, knowing Him as the author and finisher of our faith. It is our desire to glorify God in all that we do. Our mission statement is "We are willing servants, distributing bread to the nations". We minister to every kindred, tongue, people, and nation by sponsoring food distribution events throughout the year. Our slogan is "Feed the Family". As we feed the families, God will get the glory. In addition to our food distribution events, we support various shelters for men, women, and children. We provide Thanksgiving and Christmas bounty baskets along with our annual Christmas toy drive.
The Loaves and Fishes Ministry holds an average of three food distribution events per year in Chicago area neighborhoods. Approximately 18 tons of food has been distributed over the last five years.
As we go and bless others who are in need and seek to save the lost, God shows up and does miraculous things. Working together with the Evangelism Ministry, we have prayed for people and have seen many souls saved, people set free and delivered, and bodies healed. Through this ministry, we are not only ministering to people's bodies, but their souls as well. All glory to God!
