The Canaanland Kidz 4 Christ Children’s Church Ministry is part of Pastor Winston’s vision of “equipping the saints”—including children—to go forth into the world as leaders thoroughly established in the Word of God.
With the world getting darker around us, it is vitally important, and our responsibility, to provide our children with a solid foundation in the Word of God.
At LWCC, that foundation begins early and is fostered at every age level with the same powerful, biblical emphasis as LWCC adults:
- Worship, Prayer

- Evangelism and Fellowship
Curriculum
All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace.

We seek to synchronize the light of the church with the love of family to align the two primary influences that impact a child’s life:
Infant – 2 years: Learn Bible stories, sing songs, and play in a nurturing environment
3 years – Kindergarten: Explore Bible stories through learning center play, storytelling, crafts and worship
1st – 3rd grade: Celebrate, learn about God through stories and apply biblical principles through small group discussion and activities
4th – 5th grade: Build life changing community through small groups
Empowering Parents
We believe parents are the primary agents of spiritual formation in their children's lives.
To support your efforts as parents, the Church can provide experiences where children and families can:
- Celebrate God with the focus on growing the child's relationship with Jesus
- Connect with children their own age and adults with the focus on growing a child's relationship with others in the church
- Contribute to the mission of Jesus with the focus on a child's ability to impact the world as he or she becomes the leader God created them to be

We take safety and security of every child and contributor seriously. We ask parents to become familiar with the policies and procedures you will receive. Your cooperation will help us make our environment the safest possible for everyone.

Prayer Confession for Children
Father God, I thank you for your promise to me as the seed of Abraham, to bless my children and all my descendants. Help us to provide the guidance, upbringing and biblical teachings that will provide for them an unshakeable foundation for life. I pray they all will get born-again early in life, and will develop a godly character. Help them to excel academically and to respect authority. I pray that they are all taught of the Lord, and great is their peace, safety and security. Surround them with friends who fear the Lord. Keep them morally and sexually pure. Give them wisdom in every decision to know and do your will.
I pray they will be rooted and grounded in the truth. Make them leaders and world changers, ambassadors of the Kingdom of God, bringing Christ and the Kingdom culture to their peers and to their generation. Inspire them to achieve with excellence and to take a stand for noble causes. I pray they will be strong and of a good courage. I pray they will have a biblical world view and hold fast to their profession of faith without wavering. Help them to develop and excel in the gifts you have placed within them.
Thank you for pouring your Spirit upon my seed and your blessing upon my offspring. Give them a love for you, for others, and for your Word. Help them to overcome every obstacle by faith in God.
Grant them favor and bless them with good success throughout their lives. I pray for their marriages, families, careers and service endeavors, that they all be according to your will and purpose for their lives. May the fruit of the Spirit within them always prevail over the works of the flesh. I pray your anointing will always be upon them, keeping them on the right path and preventing ungodly yokes and burdens. Deliver them from all temptation and evil, and I pray they will live for you all the days of their lives. Protect them from every force in their environment that would lead them to sin and draw them away from you. I plead the blood of Jesus over them and all their possessions and pray your angels will preserve and keep them in all their ways. Keep them safe wherever they go for Christ has redeemed them from all hurt, harm, danger, accident and evil. For all these blessings I give you thanks and praise, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
