"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16:15-18).
The Evangelism Ministry is a spirit-led outreach and street witnessing team that goes beyond the four-corners of the walls of what we call church, into the street and into different communities where the lost are. It is our goal to reach out to lost people with the gospel of Jesus Christ so that they can hear the Word of God and see a demonstration of His power. For the son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). We provide services such as prayer, spiritual information, Bibles, if needed, and follow-up care.
The evangelism team ministers on the street every Saturday from the spring of each year until the fall. In addition to the regular activities, the team hosts Operation Clean Sweep (O.C.S), an annual outreach event ministering the Gospel through Word, food, and music to people in Chicagoland communities.
Since 1995, over 2789 people have received prayer, over 7500 people have been witnessed to, and over 3945 people have been born-again through the efforts of the Evangelism Ministry. All praise and glory to God!
